Ruby Dachis (b.2003, Austin TX) is an Austin raised, Brooklyn based visual artist and writer.

Dachis largely works figuratively, excavating and reconstructing familial or found printed and digital media primarily through painting and drawing.

Her practice spans writing, painting, drawing, reading, sculpting, creative direction, ephemeral public installation, listening, and printmaking.

Dachis attended high school at Saint Ann’s School, in Brooklyn, NY, and is currently completing her dual undergraduate degrees in Fine Art and English at Wesleyan University. her work has been featured in the Saint Ann’s RAM, the Saint Ann’s High School Literary Magazine, the Saint Ann’s Art Journal, the Oberlin College Wilder Voice, and The Lavender, Wesleyan University’s poetry, prose, and arts magazine.
